Imagine a robot vacuum cleaner who not only remembers and recognizes your home and cleans the rooms by name, but also empties its dust bin automatically. iRobot Corp., has launched the Roomba i7 + robot vacuum cleaner with Clean Base external dust bin.
Introducing a new technology, Imprint Smart Mapping, which allows Roomba i7 + to remember multiple floors / home and via space naming, you can schedule the cleaning exactly according to your needs, either with voice control or via the iRobot HOME App.
Once the Roomba i7 + robot vacuum cleaner has finished cleaning, it automatically empties its Clean Base dust container, which can hold up to 30x dust bin, which allows you to forget about cleaning and maintenance for several weeks at a time.
Know your home and understand your commands
Using a new technology, Roomba i7 + can clean specific rooms in the home. Using Imprint Smart Mapping, Roomba i7 + gets to know your entire home and gives you the opportunity to choose exactly the spaces you want the robot vacuum cleaner to clean and when. The robot gets to know each room – and can have up to 10 floors / homes in its memory – meaning you can clean your own home, the cottage, your parents and in-laws, etc., and the robot know exactly where it is and Cleans according to your wishes.
iRobot’s patented iAdapt 3.0 Navigation with vSLAM technology helps Roomba i7 + to navigate easily and elegantly around the home, knowing where it’s already cleaned and where it’s missing. Roomba i7 + is further adapted to the home, and if there are changes, it quickly finds the best way to cope with the cleaning.
The Roomba i7 + works with Alexa-enabled devices, and is the only robot vacuum cleaner that can recognize and clean specific named rooms via voice control. For example, you can say: “Alexa, ask Roomba to clean my kitchen”, and Roomba i7 + finds the room in question and starts cleaning. When the robot vacuum cleaner has finished cleaning, it returns to the charging station, where it automatically drains its dust container via the Clean Base external dust bin.

The iRobot Roomba i7 + Robot Vacuum Cleaner’s Clean Base external dust bin works both as a charging station and external dust bin and eliminates “dirty work” as dust and dirt end up in a sealed bag without the possibility of entering the room.
When the bag is full, you will receive a message from the iRobot HOME app. The bag is taken effortlessly and replaced with a new one. The bag can hold up to 30x full dust bins from the robot vacuum cleaner, which means you do not have to think about vacuum cleaning or maintenance for several weeks at a time, but just have clean floors.
Powerful performance, intelligent cleaning.
The iRobot Roomba is equipped with two Multi-Surface rubber brushes that effectively work together for thorough cleaning of all floor surfaces. The Roomba i7 + and Roomba e5 robot vacuum cleaners automatically adjust the height of the cleaning head to continuously be in direct contact with the floor.
One dust collector loosens the dirt and the other lifts it into the dust bin. Instead of traditional brushes that can bend and thus can be ineffective, the Multi-Surface rubber bushes are flexible and handle everything from small particles, dust, dirt and hair.
Due to its low profile, it can clean under and around furniture as well as along lists. Roomba i7 + and Roomba e5 are equipped with a High Efficiency filter that collects up to 99% of the allergens from pollen, mold, dust mites and pet hair.
With the patented Dirt Detect Technology, the Roomba i7 + and Roomba e5 robot vacuum cleaners are always looking for places that require extra thorough cleaning. Its sensors capture particularly dirty places as it gives extra attention. When the Roomba i7 + robot vacuum cleaner has finished cleaning, you can see the Clean Map report in the iRobot HOME app, which shows how the robot has completed cleaning.
